I would like to start off this blog post with an apology. I have been on the road so much that I have not been giving my blogular duties the attention they deserve. The good news is that I am back in the mountain hideaway for the next month, so every post should be at least great if not full tilt ball dropping awesome. This post was supposed to drop on Wednesday but I held it back to make it amazing.
Now, back to the business of the bicycles. I just went to a place with a whole lot of em. The North American Cycle Courier Championships in Austin Texas to be exact. I was commissioned to go down and spread my own brand of nonsense at the event by Levi’s, Bern Unlimited (who promises to set up shop here on pedalr sometime before 2015) and DZR shoes. Each had different offerings for the messenger community. Levi’s sponsored the alley cat which was a great time. Few things feel as good as making it rain denim and cold hard cash.

I did not take these photos. I was far to drunk, and even sober I take poor pictures. Full credit for the Alleycat photos goes to Leo Furmansky of Austin.
Bern Unlimited had a checkpoint and had me distributing my very own souphorse pro model helmet to riders and winners of the event. They will be available for public consumption in the near future. I can’t tell you how proud I was to give them away to my friends and fellow bikers. Not every day you get to do something like that, and I would like to thank Bern for the opportunity.
Lastly DZR went above and beyond the call and made limited edition NACCC shoes that are not available to the public in any form. Bringing brands that truly care about the urban cycling community to the event was a pleasure and an honor.

I also got to spend some quality time with one of our pedalrs, Natalie from Fast Folks. She has imported a ton of her store inventory on to the site, and is selling a lot of sweet stuff (hint). By that hint I mean if you list great gear, it moves right out the door.
In other pedalr related news there have been quite a few new sellers listing items for sale. A good friend of mine Jack from L.A. is getting ride of a couple sweet rides. The first is fancy and carbon.

While his second offering is a throwback to a time called the 80′s. Downtube shifting was all the rage, along with questionable fashion.

His Daccordi is a thing of beauty and kitted out with the finest parts of the time. The bike is complete sans saddle and pedals. I guarantee you do not want Jack’s seat, I know where it has been.
There are tons of equally as awesome new items on the site, and we can delve into those next week. Till that time, keep the barspins to a minimum.
